5-Hit Blitz by Rojas Saturday, July 11th , 2043 It was a good day for the Senators at UPMC Park as they clipped the Erie SeaWolves, 17-0. It was tremendous day for Jonathan Rojas, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5. "I don't know what to call that," the Harrisburg left fielder told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Jonathan Rojas hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Rojas is hitting .309 with 3 home runs and 29 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .348 clip and scored 19 runs. |
