20-Game Hitting Streak for Taylor Monday, May 25th , 2043 Rusty Taylor has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Bowie center fielder picked up 1 more today against the Portland Sea Dogs and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Baysox won the game, 3-2. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Rusty Taylor flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd and flied out in the 6th. Thus far this season in 21 games, Taylor is batting .369 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 31 hits in 84 at-bats. |
