Curve DeLine Gone for Year Tuesday, June 14th , 2044 The doctors have spoken and Mike DeLine of the Altoona Curve didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. DeLine sustained his season-ending injury during the Hartford Yard Goats game yesterday at Dunkin' Donuts Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Altoona medical staff reported DeLine had radial nerve compression and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5 months. |
