June's Premier Batter Announced Wednesday, July 1st , 2043 When Vince Sampson stepped up to the plate in June he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Triple-A West Batter of the Month award. The young Oklahoma City left fielder posted a .388 batting average with 12 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Sampson also worked pitchers for 6 walks to post a .427 on-base percentage. This season, Sampson has hit at a .330 clip and produced 46 RBI, 20 home runs and 41 runs. |
