Buffalo Sweeps into the Round 3 Thursday, September 25th , 2042 The Buffalo Bisons proved to be too much to handle for the Lehigh Valley IronPigs in the Round 2, and a sweep was the end result. Buffalo punched its ticket to the Round 3 on the strength of a 2-1 win in the deciding game, which wrapped up the series 3-0. Buffalo center fielder Ethan McNichol, named series MVP, was instrumental in the sweep, as he mashed Lehigh Valley pitching to the tune of a .500 average, with a .533 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Buffalo Bisons don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Columbus Clippers - Durham Bulls series.
