"He was patient up there," San Diego (ACL) skipper Dennis Malave told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Rivera has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Arturo Rivera singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.
