Nelson Delivers Walk-Off Win for Orioles
|
Baltimore Orioles starter Jesse Litsch led his team to victory over the Texas Rangers, 4-2. The right-hander was locked-in. The defeat makes Texas 19-12.
Baltimore got a game-changing hit from Chris Nelson. The shortstop blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.
Litsch called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
