German Babetoff Nabs Prestigious Pitcher of the Year Award Thursday, June 12th , 2031 The Conference 2 announced today that German Babetoff has been chosen the Pitcher of the Year Award winner for 2031. The Khabarovsk College starter had everything working for him this past season as he breezed to a 5-2 record. In his award-winning season Babetoff crafted a 3.54 ERA in 56 innings with 52 strikeouts and 18 walks. Opposing batters hit .245 against him in his 12 starts. He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Cengiz Rahim of the Gaziantep College Norsemen finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Toimi Linkomies of the Helsinki College Sox finished third.
