Bocci Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Sunday, April 14th , 2047 Gdansk College lost to the Ankara College Longhorns, 4-1, at Longhorns Field, but Sandro Bocci kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 2 hits. The Comets right fielder has now delivered hits in 25 straight games. "Sandro has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Gdansk College manager Iwan den Outer told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Sandro Bocci grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. Bocci currently has a .386 batting average with 59 hits, 4 homers, 23 RBIs, 36 runs scored and a .460 OBP. |
