Railers Take It on Chin, Lose, 12-0, to Rosyth Thursday, August 11th , 2050 A.J. Eassson bent a little, but he didn't break against the Mykolayiv Railers. The Rosyth Soldats pitcher hurled a 2-hit, 12-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering 1 walk and tallying 4 strikeouts. "A.J. is good at getting out of jams," Soldats manager Jonathan Guichard told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you." To date Eassson is 4-2 in 9 starts with a 2.66 ERA and has 44 strikeouts in 50.2 innings. |
