Season Over for Marco Lowe in Nice Friday, August 14th , 2048 When Marco Lowe was hurt against the Wroclaw Lions, the Nice Nicers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 21-year-old starting pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Lowe would miss 11-12 months of the season. Up to now Lowe has compiled an ERA of 2.89 with a 12-4 mark over 23 starts. He has 132 strikeouts in 149.1 innings and has held opponents to a .228 batting average. |
