Brooklyn Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Saturday, September 9th , 2073 The sweet swing of Luis Martínez has led his team through the Round 1. The Brooklyn Cyclones star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes to advance to the Round 2. The Cyclones won the final game at KeySpan Park by a score of 4-2 and the series 4-3. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Martínez. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Martínez hit .360 with a .484 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 3 runs.
