At the age of 20, the Hickory second baseman has been named the winner of the American League Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .383 batting average and a .471 on-base percentage this year. In 119 games he piled up 186 hits, 15 doubles, 2 triples, 37 home runs, 95 RBIs and 124 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said.
