Nota Batters Quad Cities for 5 Hits Wednesday, August 19th , 2071 Montez Nota said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Modern Woodmen Park, and it showed in the box score. The Clinton shortstop had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Quad Cities River Bandits, leading his club to victory, 10-2. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Nota said later." Montez Nota singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
