Hits Galore: Carter Drills 5 Hits Sunday, July 5th , 2071 The Kannapolis Intimidators tripped up the Lansing Lugnuts, 8-7. The Intimidators were led by Tom Carter, their 20-year-old right fielder. Carter made life miserable for Lansing pitchers all day, tagging them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. Tom Carter doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Manuel Hernández in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 9th, flied out in the 10th and singled in the 13th.
