Bridges and Albuquerque Brawl, League Suspends Them Wednesday, August 15th , 2068 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Down East-St. Lucie contest at North Brookfield Fields. The Wood Ducks Don Bridges and the Mets Horácio Albuquerque will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the year, Bridges is batting .350 with 14 home runs. In 22 starts this season, Albuquerque has crafted a 6-6 record with a 5.28 ERA. |
