Newman Week's Best in AL-A+ Monday, July 6th , 2071 Tim Newman of the Charlotte Stone Crabs was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Newman put up some great numbers and hauled in the American League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .476 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs. The 27-year-old second baseman also scored 8 runs and for the week went 10-for-21. So far this year, Newman has 8 home runs and a .284 batting average. |
