20-Game Hitting Streak for Terry Friday, May 15th , 2071 Tom Terry, first baseman for the Brevard County Manatees, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 19-3 victory over the New Hampshire Primaries at Space Coast Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," New Hampshire manager John Garrison said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Tom Terry singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Salvador Valle in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jorge Valdés in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. At the moment, Terry is batting .380 with 12 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 30 games and scored 26 times. |
