Super Swinger -- Buck Slams 5 Hits Friday, August 28th , 2071 Christian Buck was unstoppable, but the Charleston Alley Cats were not. Despite his hitting heroics at Stanley Coveleski Regional Stadium, the Alley Cats lost, 12-8, to the South Bend Silver Hawks. Buck battered South Bend for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His only consolation will be a boost in his batting average and a brief mention in the record book. Buck just shook his head after the game, telling BNN reporters, "It's the team with the most runs that wins, not the most hits." Christian Buck doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Justin Grimes in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
