Carver Chosen May's Best NL-A Hurler Monday, June 1st , 2071 Ryan Carver was pure poison coming out of the Silver Hawks bullpen in May. For his outstanding performance, he picked up the National League Pitcher of the Month award. The South Bend Silver Hawks reliever had 8 saves for the month with a 3-0 record and 2.40 ERA. He made 12 relief appearances, hurled 15 innings, yielded 11 hits, fanned 17 and walked 7. This year, Carver has made 17 relief appearances and saved 10.
