Gabriel on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Montgomery Saturday, September 5th , 2071 Midland third baseman Pedro Gabriel had a big day at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium against the Montgomery Biscuits. The 24-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 13-12 RockHounds triumph over Montgomery. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Gabriel said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Pedro Gabriel singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
