New Orleans Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Wednesday, September 23rd , 2071 New Orleans Baby Cakes won a nail-biting series against the Fresno Grizzlies 4-3, wrapping up the Round 1 finale 8-3 at Zephyr Field. Baby Cakes second baseman Ken Robinson was named the series MVP. He batted .357, drove in 1 runs and scored 4 to lead New Orleans into the next round of play. "Ken was real solid for us, real solid," said Baby Cakes manager Panas Bahmetiev. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time." The New Orleans Baby Cakes will play against the El Paso Chihuahuas in the next round. El Paso won their series against the Indianapolis Indians 4 games to 1.
