Season May Be Over for Chiefs Elliott
Saturday, August 15th , 2071
Doctors in Syracuse said Matt Elliott might not play anymore this year. The Chiefs starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow during a game against the Las Vegas 51s and will be out for at least 8 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
This season to date, Elliott has a record of 2 wins and 1 loss with a 2.70 ERA, has appeared in 9 games and struck out 37 in 36.2 innings.
