5-for-5 Day for Austin Wednesday, June 17th , 2071 It was a sensational day at the plate for Mike Austin as he led the charge to a nifty 10-5 win over the Reds. The Arizona left fielder was pure misery for the Cincinnati pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Austin put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Bill Senese, manager for the Reds, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Mike Austin hit a solo-shot off Roy Hamilton in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
