The 9-7 Boston win over Houston was due largely to Dylan Brown. The Red Sox third baseman was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The win has Boston at 12-15.

With Boston trailing 5-4 in the top of the fifth, Brown hit a curveball from Peter Roberts for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 6-5.

"We ground out the win," said Brown. "That's all that matters."
