The El Paso Chihuahuas are riding high after knocking off the New Orleans Baby Cakes in the Round 2.

"We're feeling confident now and that's half the battle," said Manuel Romero, who was named series MVP. "You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this."

El Paso won the final game by a 7-3 count at PGE Park and the series 4-1.

For the series, Romero hit .333 with a .333 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The El Paso Chihuahuas don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Oklahoma City RedHawks - Salt Lake Bees series. Oklahoma City leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
