RedHawks Heading to Round 3
The Oklahoma City RedHawks are riding high after winning the Round 2 and eliminating the Salt Lake Bees by a series score of 4-1.

The final blow came tonight at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark, when Oklahoma City secured its spot in the Round 3 with a 5-3 victory.

"It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said right fielder Pedro Salazar, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance."

Salazar certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .381 with a .435 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs.

The Oklahoma City RedHawks will play against the El Paso Chihuahuas in the next round. El Paso won their series against the New Orleans Baby Cakes 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
