Brewers Capture 4-3 Win at U.S. Cellular Field
|
Milwaukee picked up a win at U.S. Cellular Field, bumping off the Chicago White Sox, 4-3. Pitcher Gary Morse was a major reason the Brewers emerged victorious. Ricardo Matos was credited with the save for Milwaukee, his 39th of the season. Chicago has now lost 4 in a row.
Milwaukee relied on the hitting of Ayoub Josse to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers on top, 4-3. For the game, Josse had 1 triple and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Morse.
