Toronto got an elite performance from starting pitcher Nick Ellison in securing a 5-0 decision over the Baltimore Orioles. The second-place Blue Jays improved to 52-45.
Ellison delivered a quality start for Toronto. The 6-foot-5 right-hander allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
"We have a lot of confidence in Nick," said Toronto manager Craig Eccles.
