Jack Díaz really sizzled at the plate in his team's 14-1 win over the New Britain Rock Cats. The Portland third baseman blistered New Britain for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

"Díaz was too tough to get out today," the Rock Cats skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
