Red Sox Pull Out Late Win, 7-6
Not everyone stuck through the 61-minute rain delay, but those who did went home happy.

Red Sox designated hitter Brad Ruffin left his mark on his team's 7-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Ruffin, who is tied for 8th in the AL in doubles with 9, went 4 for 6 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs for Boston in the contest. The win gives Boston a record of 20-12.

The decisive blow was delivered by Aaron Guerra in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Odilon Orive to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Ruffin.
