Nelson Oceguera Strokes 3 Home Runs Wednesday, December 11th , 2041 It was a good day for the Tempe Juggernauts and an exceptional one for Nelson Oceguera. The 23-year-old second baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Juggernauts beat the Lewisburg Dragons, 7-1, at Ballpark of Lewisburg. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Oceguera said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Nelson Oceguera hit a three-run home run off Mike Anderson in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Mike Anderson in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Arturo Banuelos in the 7th and singled in the 9th. |
