Carlson Captures PIO Batter of Month Award Saturday, October 1st , 2044 Zach Carlson made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Pioneer League this past month. The Great Falls Voyagers first baseman shined through the month of September and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old hit .481 with 7 home runs, 16 RBIs and 11 runs scored. This year, Carlson is batting .397 with 21 home runs and 50 RBIs. In 55 games he has scored 46 times. |
