Great Stroke: Tourney Gets 5 Hits

Jim Tourney really sizzled at the plate in his team's 12-1 win over the New York A W (GCL) Yankees West. The Baltimore (GCL) second baseman blistered New York A W (GCL) for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Tourney was too tough to get out today," the Yankees West skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Jim Tourney hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, walked in a run in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
In the current season, Tourney has put up a .340 batting average with 35 hits, 1 home run, 20 RBI and scored 15 runs.
