Brewers Gold Pitching Ravaged by Becker Wednesday, July 18th , 2046 It was a parade of hits for Josh Becker of the Cleveland (AZL) Indians Blue at Maryvale Baseball Park. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Becker finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Indians Blue to a win, 14-12. "Becker was really good and we were really bad," groaned Brewers Gold manager Houston Summers. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Josh Becker singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Chris Pellett in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. In this current campaign Becker is hitting at a .457 clip with 3 home runs and 26 RBIs. |
