Mike Storey Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Monday, August 22nd , 2039 Mike Storey will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Johnson City starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Storey was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cardinals-Yankees clash at Calfee Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 12 months. In 11 starts this year Storey has recorded a 0-5 record and a 8.24 ERA. |
