Great Stroke: Lindenmeyer Gets 5 Hits

It was a parade of hits for Zach Lindenmeyer of the Charleston RiverDogs at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Lindenmeyer finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the RiverDogs to a win, 10-6.
"Lindenmeyer was really good and we were really bad," groaned Legends manager Billy Carney. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Zach Lindenmeyer doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This season, Lindenmeyer has banged out 31 hits in 109 at-bats for a .284 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .328 pace and his totals also include 8 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
