JetHawks Win Round 1 Monday, September 18th , 2045 The sweet swing of Alex Jacobs has led his team through the Round 1. The Lancaster JetHawks star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Inland Empire 66ers to advance to the Round 2. The JetHawks won the final game at San Manuel Stadium by a score of 7-4 and the series 4-1. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Jacobs. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Jacobs hit .478 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Lancaster JetHawks don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Visalia Rawhide - Stockton Ports series. Stockton leads the series 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes. |
