Hit Parade: Snider Gets Cycle Sunday, July 10th , 2044 Bob Snider had a banner day at the plate, stringing together all four legs of the cycle as the Pensacola Blue Wahoos beat the Montgomery Biscuits, 7-0. Snider drilled 4 hits in 5 at-bats, collecting 5 runs batted in and scoring 1 run to capture the win for Pensacola. "I was fortunate to see some good pitches and I was fortunate to be able to make the most of them," he said later. "It was a good day for us." Bob Snider hit a two-run triple in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Branco van den Hurk in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. This season, Snider is batting .331 with 89 hits, 4 home runs, 49 RBIs, .458 OBP and has scored 44 runs. |
