Flores was the key to the 4-0 Jackson win. The 27-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 3 hits and 4 walks he allowed. "3 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout." This season, Flores has compiled a 7-5 record with a 2.90 ERA in 17 starts. |
