Case Blanks Charlotte, 1-0 Friday, May 26th , 2045 T.J. Case was dynamite at BB&T Stadium, blowing away the Charlotte Knights in a shutout victory. The Toledo Mud Hens starter had everything working as he held the Knights to 8 hits in the 1-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Charlotte skipper Jim Deters. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Case finished the game with 5 strikeouts and 2 walks. To date this season, Case sports a 2-4 mark with a 3.23 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .263 batting average and has 46 strikeouts in 61.1 innings. |
