National League Central Division Winner is Chicago Cubs Sunday, September 25th , 2039 The Chicago Cubs are champions of the National League Central Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the World Series," said starting pitcher Danny Ortiz. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Chicago." The club's record currently sits at 96-59. It is the team's 24th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 4th Covid Quarantine Baseball League championship. Team manager Shane Prime said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
