Season Ends for Tim Kinnett of Pittsburgh

Tim Kinnett has to call it a season. The Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Chicago Cubs and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Kinnett was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months.
This season, Kinnett shows a 2-5 record in 20 games, 103.2 innings, 95 strikeouts, and a 5.99 ERA.
