Bright Spectacular in 2-0 Win
The Montgomery Biscuits were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and hurler Chris Bright. Bright kept the Biscuits confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout.

"Tip your hat to Bright," Montgomery manager Esmerlin Jimenez said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."

The 24-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 12 strikeouts in a strong performance.

"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Bright said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."

This season, Bright has a 5-3 record with a 3.57 ERA in 8 starts.
