Conditions were not ideal but Milwaukee and Oakland were able to put their game in the books.

Getting offensive support from Mike Megill, the Milwaukee Brewers topped the Oakland Athletics, 3-0. Megill was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs for the Brewers. Milwaukee reliever Chris Quick was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Zach Milam. Danny Giordano was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 19 of 27 save opportunities.

With Milwaukee leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Megill hit a changeup from Zach Milam for a solo home run. It was his 30th home run of the season and put the Brewers ahead, 2-0.
