Victory Pushes Stars Record to 64-54
|
Ian Hutt, who led the AL in wins with 17 last year, had a strong outing for the Nashville Stars against the Texas Rangers at Dave Hammertime Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-3 win. With the win, the Stars sit at 64-54.
Derek Allgire was vital to the Nashville win. He went 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third with two out, Allgire hit a 2-run single. It made the score 3-1, in favor of the Stars.
"I like to lead by example," said Allgire. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
