Twins Rally Late to Clip Milwaukee
Minnesota Twins starter Vince Huizar turned in a top-notch performance against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The result was a win for the Twins, 2-1. In 8 innings, Huizar surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Ben Hicks, his 22nd.

Minnesota used a timely hit from Dave Nichols to get the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Minnesota manager Daniel Nielson said.

The Twins improved their record to 45-68 by beating Milwaukee.
