Losing Streak Continues for Mets with 4-3 Loss to Stars
Nashville parlayed a decent outing from starter Brad Bryant into a solid win over the New York Mets. The final score was 4-3. Bryant, now 8-7, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The save went to D.J. Velazquez, his 6th this season.

Eric Campbell had a big 3-run home run for the Stars in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Nashville leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a changeup from Ramon Castellano, who is tied for 4th in the NL in innings pitched with 144.1, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Stars on top, 4-0.

New York manager Rich Stichwynn, after yet another defeat, said: "We need to recalibrate."
