Stinnett Now 12-5 Following 1-0 Win
|
The Texas Rangers did just enough to sneak past the Chicago White Sox, 1-0, at Globe Life Field. Texas pitcher Jeremy Stinnett, in particular, had a standout performance. Mario Macias picked up the save for Texas, his 26th of the year. The win lifted the Texas record to 61-40.
Stinnett, who was born in Austin, Texas, threw 96 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing no runs.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Stinnett said.
