Blue Jays Beaten By Red Sox, 5-3
The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-3. Starting pitcher Tommy Donohue played a key role in the triumph. Mike Langston earned his 17th save in 25 chances. The American League East Division-leading Red Sox are 48-32.

Boston took a 4-3 lead on Jim Long's 20th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Long hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Toronto pitcher Phil Benjamin visibly frustrated.

"Tommy gave us everything he had," said Boston manager Craig Harris.
